TV/film producer Louis Arriola has a lot to be proud of this year. As the founder of NYLA Production he has witnessed every one of his films make an indelible mark on the silver screen.
His production company, NYLA Production continues to mimic his mission of greatness. “Solidifying the Netflix deals lets me know that I am following my purpose showcasing both established and new talent in a positive light,” says Arriola.
Boy Bye is Arriola’s latest romantic drama starring Black Hollywood heavyweights: Wendy Raquel Robinson and Valarie Pettiford, Empire’s pop princess V. Bozeman, Shondrella Avery, Omar Gooding, and industry newcomer Ross Fleming. The story revolves around Veronica Love, who is a successful real estate entrepreneur in California.
Love also happens to be happily single and loving every minute of it until she meets an equally successful and mysterious business acquaintance by the name of Lance Peterson. After a few dates, she thinks that Lance may be “the one,” but to her dismay her perfect beau is harboring a few secrets. Will his shocking past be enough to bring Love’s world crashing down, or will Love be able to survive his secrets with her heart still intact?
Since Boy Bye made its debut on Netflix, it has been the most watched film in its genre for eight weeks in a row. Arriola’s film can be viewed exclusively by Netflix subscribers today.
