This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:

Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my blog. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.)

…or something like this:

The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.

The O’Jays @ The Freeman Stage at Bayside
Jul 1 @ 7:00 pm

The O’Jays are touring history, a connection to an era and a sound that formed the soundtrack for the lives of several generations. The O’Jays are still hitting the road with the same electrifying energy they’ve had for over 50 years. Walter Williams and Eddie Levert first met when they were the ages of 6 and 7 respectively. As teenagers in Canton, Ohio, they formed a band originally consisting of Eddie Levert, Walter Williams, William Powell, Bobby Massey and Bill Isles. In 1963, the band took the name “”The O’Jays”” in tribute to Cleveland radio disc jockey Eddie O’Jay. Several members have changed, but the core, original lead singers Eddie Levert and Walter Williams, continue to front the group.

The O’Jays scored the first No. 1 and million-seller with “Backstabbers” and subsequently, they succeeded with various chart-topping pop and R&B singles including “Love Train,” “Put Your Hands Together,” “For The Love of Money,” “I Love Music,” “Darlin’ Darlin’ Baby (Sweet, Tender, Love),” “Livin’ For The Weekend” and “Use Ta Be My Girl.” This success propelled The O’Jays to be the first black vocal group to perform in arenas throughout America during the ’70s and ’80s.
The O’Jays were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2005 and honored with BET’s Life Time Achievement Award in 2009. In 2013, they were inducted into The Official R&B Music Hall of Fame. Throughout their career The O’Jays have achieved 10 Gold albums, 9 Platinum albums and 10 No. 1 hits. Eddie Levert Sr., Walter Williams Sr. and Eric Nolan Grant, who joined the group in 1995, continue to thrill fans today.

Dream Big where Art & Fashion Dream Together @ UD Clayton Hall
Oct 7 @ 12:46 pm – 1:46 pm
It is summer here in Delaware and everyone is at the beach watching the sun go down.  It’s a beautiful view, but fall will soon arrive.  The leaves on the trees will start to turn colors, and we are dreaming of ushering in the fall with a “Dream Big- Where Art & Fashion Dream Together” campaign.
This campaign will shine a spotlight on Delaware’s rich supply of talented local artist and highlights another form of art that does not always get its proper recognition in Delaware: Fashion.  We dream of a campaign that allows artists and fashion designers alike to share their creations in an intimate setting and allows for access to their creative forces we’ve only dreamed of.
Lee Brandon Christopher Studio, a small art studio with the audacity to Dream Big and connect artists and art lovers, will partner with renowned local artists Terrance Vann, Alim  “YesterdayNite” Smith, Marilyn Bauman, Ric Conn, Nicole Kristina and many more.  In conjunction with the University of Delaware’s school of fashion & art, we will feature the “Dream Big” Gala which will be a celebration of art, fashion and scholarship in the heart of our community.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit the University of Delaware’s art and fashion student organizations for additional education and enrichment opportunities.  In addition, a portion of the proceeds will support artistic activities in the City of Wilmington by donating to several organizations that serve low-income families: Northeast Church of Christ, First State Church of Christ and TeenSharp.
The “Dream Big” art and fashion campaign is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated events in the area.

Bethel AME Church Sons of Allen Men’s Ministry & Delaware Community Foundation

In 2007 the Bethel AME Church Sons of Allen Men’s Ministry recognized that there was a significant need for positive male role models to serve as a resource and guide in the development of the girls and young ladies in our community. The logical focus was to start at home with our own daughters by creating a formal event to make our daughter feel special, exemplify our love for them, showcase how they should be valued and how they should value themselves. Thus was the birth of the annual Father Daughter Dinner Dance “An Evening of Elegance,” now in its 10th year.

Stubbs Elementary School Presents: Out of the Ashes @ Stubbs Elementary School
Jan 18 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Out of the Ashes is dramatic expression of the real life journey of father and son who struggled while building a relationship after 14 years of separation. In 1994 Coley Harris went to prison to serve a 16 year sentence and he left behind his 2 year old son Ahmarr Melton. Father and son had to navigate their respective worlds in hopes of reuniting one day and filling the void in their respective lives. Coley struggled to find his identity as a responsible man in a world of steel and stone, as Ahmarr faced an unrelenting world without the guidance of his father. Out of the Ashes captures this intimate journey in a unique blend of dramatic and poetic harmony. This experience is unlike any that you will ever witness, for it is a continuation of a lifelong healing process that this father and son have embarked upon.
