This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:
Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my blog. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.)
…or something like this:
The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.

The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC) and Women of Wellness, LLC invite you to the Total Woman’s Conferenceon April 9, 2016 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Milford Public Library, 11 SE Front Street, Milford, DE.
The conference will include dynamic workshops, lunch, giveaways for participants, and is the 3rd stop on the Wise and Well Wellness Tour which teaches these same principles throughout the state of Delaware.
Nationally, African American Women have the highest death rates from breast cancer of all of the racial groups, and are 40% more likely to die of breast cancer than white women. Medical research indicates that comorbidities, such as having diabetes in addition to breast cancer, increase the risk of dying from the disease. Studies also show that Black women have a higher incidence of diabetes and other comorbidities such as hypertension that reduce survivorship.
Proper exercise, healthy nutrition habits, and stress management could substantially decrease a woman’s chance of developing comorbidities, including reducing a woman’s chance of developing breast cancer. However, studies show that many women experience a barrier to engaging in stress management and a healthy lifestyle because they do not understand what those terms mean and how to integrate them into their current lives.
Through this free, one day conference, DBCC and Women of Wellness, will teach what it means to lead a healthy lifestyle in a way that is easy to understand and implement, promoting breast health, nutrition, exercise, financial fitness, and stress management.

The Markevic A. Johnson Educational Fund was established in March of 1999 in memory of Keisha Marie Kidd. Keisha was a graduate of Delaware State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Keisha passed shortly after her son, Markevic was born. He is now fourteen years old. She loved pursuing her education and clearly understood its value.
The annual Scholarship Luncheon is held to commemorate Keisha’s life as well as to generate contributions for a scholarship fund for Markevic and two other graduating seniors pursuing a college education to Delaware State University & Wilmington University in the fall of 2016.
We invite you to join us at this year’s Markevic A. Johnson Scholarship Luncheon.
