This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:
Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my blog. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.)
…or something like this:
The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.

Richard Smallwood is a legend in his own time. After four decades as one of the most popular inspirational artists in the music business, with classic tunes such as “Total Praise;” “Center of My Joy;” and “I Love the Lord” to his credit, the Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and pianist continues to enjoy widespread popularity and influence. His songs have been recorded by Whitney Houston, Destiny’s Child, Kelly Price, Gerald Levert, American Idol’s Ruben Studdard, and a who’s who of the gospel world. Even the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, has recently recorded a Richard Smallwood tune, “Faithful,” on her latest CD.
Recently, while standing before a recording studio full of hand-picked friends and music industry colleagues, gathered for an intimate live recording session of Smallwood’s new CD, PROMISES (Verity Gospel Music Group), he made a startling confession. “I had not written a song since my mom died in 2005,” he told the stunned audience. “I thought the gift I had dried up. I would try to write and nothing would come. I’d sit at the piano, I’d pray and there was nothing.”

The Markevic A. Johnson Educational Fund was established in March of 1999 in memory of Keisha Marie Kidd. Keisha was a graduate of Delaware State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Keisha passed shortly after her son, Markevic was born. He is now fourteen years old. She loved pursuing her education and clearly understood its value.
The annual Scholarship Luncheon is held to commemorate Keisha’s life as well as to generate contributions for a scholarship fund for Markevic and two other graduating seniors pursuing a college education to Delaware State University & Wilmington University in the fall of 2016.
We invite you to join us at this year’s Markevic A. Johnson Scholarship Luncheon.
RESH Salon & Spa is celebrating their Grand Opening with an indoor and outdoor Open House on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at 7pm. The event will include hors d’oeuvres, raffles, music, drinks, vendors & more! There will also be a special presentation to Lieutenant Colonel Vaughn Bond, New Castle County’s highest ranking black officer ever!
RESH’s team of creative, multi-talented and fun loving stylists and skin care specialists have made the salon and spathe scene in Delaware. What sets this place apart from the rest is their eco-luxurious, cool, laidback atmosphere while also being dead serious about promoting the values of damage-free hair and skincare through organic and eco-friendly concepts.
Please come out and help Sherell and Michael Flagg and their team celebrate on September 3rd!
So often people try to define you by what they see, but what they see is not the whole story. Just as Jesus did not allow the woman with the issue of blood, the woman at the well, and the woman caught in adultery to be defined by their story, so He has ordained it not be so for you. He has given you a purpose, a destiny, and a testimony.
It’s time to rise up, shedding the excess baggage you are not designed to carry, and walk boldly into the victory that Jesus provided for us all. Worship God with us at this year’s WMI Conference and receive freedom, strength and a deeper resolve to walk in His purpose for your life as others share their story of triumph in Christ.
