This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:
Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my blog. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.)
…or something like this:
The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.

The Markevic A. Johnson Educational Fund was established in March of 1999 in memory of Keisha Marie Kidd. Keisha was a graduate of Delaware State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Keisha passed shortly after her son, Markevic was born. He is now fourteen years old. She loved pursuing her education and clearly understood its value.
The annual Scholarship Luncheon is held to commemorate Keisha’s life as well as to generate contributions for a scholarship fund for Markevic and two other graduating seniors pursuing a college education to Delaware State University & Wilmington University in the fall of 2016.
We invite you to join us at this year’s Markevic A. Johnson Scholarship Luncheon.

Meet Kingston Jones, an African American professional who appears to epitomize success, but is weighed down by several secrets. Despite his Ivy League education and workplace accomplishments, he is treated like a common criminal after being stopped by the police for a traffic violation. The event marks a pivotal point from which he is unable to return to his former life. The novel sheds light on someone who shows up one way in public, but is heavily burdened in private.
In 2006 Nahjee took a creative writing course because as a failing student he needed the extra credit to graduate on time. In 2010, after a series of working odd jobs, he changed course to pursue a career as an author. Three years later, his first book went into publication. Seven years later Nahjee has written seven picture books to encourage every child regardless of their age, color, or religion to be comfortable with who they are and gain the confidence to strive for success.
He was host of a daily television show for two years on Main Line Television from 2015 to 2017.
In 2016, Nahjee was presented with the Main Liners Who Give Back Award in recognition of his achievements as a top philanthropist on the Main Line.
Also in 2016 Nahjee founded All Children Equal Success to inspire children to keep from falling behind, pursue their dreams, and motivate them throughout the school year to stay focused on their goals.
