Laced Sneaker Company, LLC and Delaware 87ers (D-league team for the Philadelphia 76ers) have teamed up to bring you Sevens Sneaker Convention on Saturday, February 20, 2016. We are expecting over 1,000 attendees so save the date! You don’t want to miss this! The event is sponsored by Sneaker Villa and United Way of Delaware. (United Way of Delaware is collecting new and gently used sneakers/shoes for the needy. Please bring a pair to donate.)
The cost for attendees is only $20! Your ticket gives you access to the buy/sell/trade sneaker convention beginning at 3 p.m. With admission, you can bring up to 6 pairs of sneakers to sell or trade. if you would like to sell even more sneakers, you can bring up to 11 pairs for an extra $5. You also have access to the game against rivals, the Maine Red Claws (Boston Celtics) at 7 p.m. A vendor table is only $50; two vendor tables are only $70.
There will be raffles and giveaways throughout the day.

JUNETEENTH is the annual observance of the official date of recognition of the Emancipation Proclamation in all states following the Civil War.
The Kennett Underground Railroad Center will present its FREEDMEN, FUGITIVES, and FRIENDS Walking Tour, sharing the stories of the local Quakers and African Americans who coexisted peacefully before and after the Civil War. The free tour will focus on the houses and churches of the East Linden Street and North Union Street area of Kennett Square, known to be a “hotbed of abolitionists”.
