PublishAmerica, the nation’s leading traditional book publisher, will host the first of ten regional published authors conventions next month in Wilmington, Delaware. The Mid-Atlantic Published Authors Convention is open to all published and aspiring authors and their guests, not just those published by PublishAmerica. The event will be held at the beautiful Hagley Museum and Library on February 3 from 9 am until 5 pm.
The convention will be a unique opportunity for attendees to mingle with other authors and PublishAmerica's knowledgeable staff members, who will be available to answer questions and offer advice. Also on hand from the literary world will be marketing experts, literary agents, booksellers and inspirational speakers.
Featured speakers for this event include Bryan Winfrey who will present “Ask Your Publisher”; Lynn Barry “The Sheer Fun of Writing”; Paul Rachmann “How to Persist and Never Give Up”; Alice Meiners “What to Overcome Before You Go Solo”; Tina Shipe “Promote Yourself”; and Jackie Buehrle “How We Make Books.”
Authors, bookstores, cafes and others are encouraged to become exhibitors with the available option of a full or half space.

PublishAmerica is the home of more than 50,000 talented authors. PublishAmerica is a traditional publishing company whose primary goal is to encourage and promote the works of new, previously undiscovered writers. Like more mainstream publishers, PublishAmerica pays its authors advances and royalties and makes its books available through all bookstores. PublishAmerica offers a distinctly personal, supportive alternative to vanity presses and less accessible publishers.
