Nova Dance Company presents Love, Hate, and Ambiguity: an evening of modern dance, May 18th and 19th at 8pm at Film Brothers on lower Market Street in Wilmington. As the twelve pieces unfold, dancers will explore romance, motherly love, timeless love, love between three, love of sleep, bitterness, confusion, despair, and repair. This collection of original works features choreography by Jon Kennette, Michael Rowley, and SarahKim Vennard.  Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students, and are available at www.novadancecompany.com.

SBA Welcomes New District Director for Delaware

Antonio Leta brings decades of experience to new position

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today that Antonio (Tony) Leta has been appointed to be the new District Director for the SBA’s Delaware district office. In this position, he will manage the delivery of SBA programs and services to small businesses throughout the district. Leta is only the second director of the Delaware office that was opened in 1999, succeeding previous District Director Jayne Armstrong.

Democrat Doug Beatty and eldest son of actor Ned Beatty filed a statement of organization with the Delaware Office of the State Election Commissioner earlier this morning. He is attempting to secure a place on the ballot to challenge incumbent Governor Jack Markell in a gubernatorial primary election.
