On Thursday June 29, 2017 at 1 p.m. ACT GENERATION gallery will offer media and special guest an early peek at all that is on display in the amazing Michael Jackson Exhibit.
“The Smooth Criminal”, “Billie Jean”, “The Man in the Mirror” all here to give Wilmington another “Thriller”. That is, the traveling museum featuring Michael Jackson art , memorabilia, music, video and treasures. Not your standard museum fare, this year’s displays is even better and features exciting new items.
Owned by collector Ryan O’Neal, this is the largest personal collection of Michael Jackson, Jackson Five and The Jackson on the east coast. Displayed in one of the most prominent new art venues, the national production and arts studios of the ACTBoom Network, all are welcome. For Four days Act Generation will host the celebrated display of more than 5,000 MJ pieces. Visitors will see photos, clothing, props, films, video and valuables of Michael Jackson and his superstar family. And no doubt MJ and Jackson Five Tunes will be serenade guest.
“We are excited to play host for this magnificent collection. Michael Jackson was a national treasure and his legacy transcends generations. There is something for everyone’s interest in this showcase,” said host Travis Smith, Sr.
As part of the event, there will be a Paint Party fundraiser to benefit the Act Generation School for Technology and Arts on Saturday July 1, 2017 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m with artist Sir Lawrence Moore.
