“I’ve spoken to thousands of men throughout the course of my career,” says Freeman, a sought-after speaker on healthy adult relationships, fatherhood and youth development. In his collaboration with Sheldon Nix, Ph.D., who is co-author of A Father for Life, and Project Manhood, an organization that assists faith-based organizations, schools and churches to reach and develop at-risk boys into responsible, educated, employed and self-sufficient young men, Freeman says, “we felt it was necessary to develop this book and material for fathers as we continue to work with people on matters of fatherhood.
