The Author K.D. Harris Interview

Author K.D Harris, a Delaware native is an accomplished writer, who hopes to entertain and send a message to  her readers . At the age of 19 and a college student at Shaw University is where K.D finds her gift of storytelling thru writing in her journals of the things that she had experienced growing up. K.D signed a deal with The Cartel Publications in 2007 which produced the bestselling Poison Series. In 2011 K.D signed a deal and teamed up with La' Femme Fatale' publishing and released her Bliss and Playground Series. The Elite which focuses on mental health issues and obstacles that young people face daily. She explains that there are no boundaries in what she produces. She has a knack for drawing out the real life experiences that each of us can relate to in some form or another. K.D knew from first hand because she lived some of the events that she writes about but thru the grace of God she overcame adversity and the odds.

Mark and Men of Glory Interview...

Mark Morgan attended Rutgers University, where he received his educational background in music. Relocating to Delaware, Mark went on to teach music in the Delaware school systems, but kept his passion for his gospel music, at which time Mark went on to compose, write and produce family projects, extending his gifts and talents to local artists and church choirs. He has spent a total of 25 years directing choirs through out the Tri State area. Bringing all of that with him, its not strange that Mark would birth the all male group called "Mark and Men of Glory."  This group was created 3 years ago out of a local church, consisting of 8 men with a style and mixture of old and new.

Seaford Mayoral Candidate Pat Andrews Jones To Participate In Delaware New Tech Debate

Councilwoman Pat Andrews Jones, candidate for Mayor of the City of Seaford, Delaware, will participate in a Town Hall meeting with her opponent, William G. Bennett, also a City Council Member.

The Town Hall meeting is sponsored by the Delaware New Tech Academy (the business and technical program within Seaford High School), and will take place at 6:30 PM in the Seaford High School Auditorium on Monday, March 26, 2012.

Rev. Maurice J. Moyer: The Passing Of A Legend

Rev. Maurice J. Moyer passed away this past Tuesday, at Christiana Hospital.

Rev. Moyer moved to Wilmington, Delaware, in the 1950s after attending seminary at Lincoln University. He founded the African American community's first Presbyterian Church in 1955 and served as its pastor for the next fifty years. As president of the Wilmington NAACP in the 1960s, he led struggles to desegregate public accommodations, employment, and housing in Delaware. The documentary is based on oral interview with Rev. Moyer and includes period photographs and film footage.
