Paulie Calafiore, founder of The Rise Up, the Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Incorporated (Delta Pi Chapter) and the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated Nu Xi Chapter are hosting a fundraiser benefitting the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization, RAINN. The fundraiser will take place on Monday, April 10th, 7pm at University of Delaware’s Gore Hall 114.
RAINN raises funds and awareness for sexual assault, through interactive discussions educating attendees on sexual violence particularly on college campuses. A sexual assault survivor will be on hand to share their stories.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) and the University of Delaware is recognizing it with activities, and events as part of the ongoing kNOw MORE campaign. Lambda Theta Alpha and Kappa Alpha Psi are following the University’s lead to stand up, participate, and help raise awareness about sexual misconduct and gender-based violence by hosting the fundraiser.
