Delmarva Small Business Magazine is set to release its’ inaugural issue in May, 2011. Delmarva Small Business Magazine, or DSBM, was created to answer the questions of small business owners, such as, who has what resources and how do they get access to them. In its’ full color glossy pages, small businesses are provided a quality marketing platform as well as resource guide.
While most entrepreneurs are aware that there are resources out there for them, they have no idea how to access them. Statewide events, seminars and workshops aimed at informing small business owners are held at times when most are operating their businesses, their livelihoods and are unable to attend. DSBM brings the information to them; the resources, the processes, the contacts. DSBM, as a small business, knows the importance of those resources, for example, procurement opportunities, supplier diversity, micro lending and the impact it can have on our bottom line.
Taking a community development approach to helping small businesses, DSBM has reached out to form relationships and partnerships with businesses, organizations and more to bring more than just advertising to the table. Value adds for advertisers include everything from social media shout outs to the small business spotlight and profiles in every issue. Utilizing social media, direct mail, event marketing and more, DSBM seeks to provide maximum exposure for its’ small business community.
That being said, the best part is the DSBM “GIVING BIG TO SMALL BUSINESS” initiative. DSBM is offering a nominated small business in each of its’ core service areas (Delaware, Maryland & Eastern Shore of Virginia) a year of FREE ADVERTISING to include:
- Full page ad in every issue (valued at $4,500),
- Editorial in the issue of their choice? FREE Market Place ad in every issue for the contract year
- Banner advertising on the home page of DSBM for the contract year (Valued at $500.00),
- Directory Listing w/website link and
- FREE Design for their advertising (if they need it)
DSBM hopes to lead by example and encourage others to “Give Big to Small Business”.
