State Farm To Host Good Neighbor Ujima Awards

State Farm - Good Neighbor Ujima Awards State Farm to host Good Neighbor Ujima Awards reception and ceremony on January 22, 2009 at the (Baby) Grand Opera House, 818 N. Market Street, Wilmington, DE, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Awards will be presented to local citizens for leadership and volunteer service in the African American community. Donations will be made to local non-profits in honor of adult award recipients. Student recipients will receive scholarships.

Honorees include:

Senator Margaret Rose Henry for Political Leadership
Dr. Lillian Lowery for Leadership in Education
Fr. Thom Jensen for Faith Based Leadership
Rose Beaman, RN for Health Education and Service
Paul Calistro, Community Service
L’Erica Conner-Simms, Student Leader
Darnell Patton, Student Leader
