Birth The Treasure Within“Inspiration is the ability to offer hope when darkness dictates our being.”

“Birth the Treasure Within – Believe in you, Believe in your greatness, Empower yourself” is that inspiration. Author/Speaker/Consultant Karen L. Ross has written, designed, printed and published her first publication tailored for self-development in a workbook / journal format. Ms. Ross states, “It is time to be your authentic self. It is time to be who you are purposed to be even in these economic down times. When you allow life situations / circumstances to overtake who you are created to be and the life you are created to live you rob and cheat others and yourself. What is within is greater than any economic downturn. There are gifts, skills and talents waiting to be birthed. You possess greatness. You are greater than what you have been told and the belief system you have adopted. Empower yourself, your life has purpose and meaning. Dig and be the ‘gem’ you can be.”

Karen RossKaren L. Ross is inspired to care and committed to making a difference in the lives of others nationally and internationally. Her obedience to embrace the freedom and power of expression affords her the opportunity to be true to herself and inspire others to do the same. “Birth the Treasure Within” has many inspiring messages one being never give up on your dream / vision. What you desire and who you desire to be is limited by your choice to take action. Taking action is what Karen did. Believing in the greater power within she took the challenge of publishing a book and turned it into an opportunity to write, create, and print her first publication. What was gained is hers forever.

Karen’s international experience includes studying in Turkey as part of a first time study abroad program at the college she attended. She also implemented, organized her internship to Ghana, West Africa where she lived and worked for two months with women and children. Before departing Ghana she sold the vehicle purchased for travel to purchase books, blackboards and supplies for the women and children at the Liberian Refugee Camp.

Karen graduated Summa Cum Laude (highest honors) 2005 Human Services Studies and Summa Cum Laude 2007 with an Associate in Applied Science from Delaware Technical & Community College. Honors and recognition also for Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges, Delaware All-State Academic Team, Distinguished Alumni Award, President’s List, The National Dean’s List, The National Scholars Honor Society, Academic Excellence Award, New Castle County Alumni Association, The Children’s Choice Bridge Builder Award in recognition of commitment to ” Bridge Building within the Community” and Montclair Who’s Who in North America 2009 – 2010 Honored Member.

Leadership positions held include President of Sigma Kappa Delta National English Honor Society, Member Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, Vice-President of Fellowship Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, and Member of the Human Services Club.

Karen is available for speaking engagements, interviews and workshops. Visit www.klrenter-prises.com or contact via email karen@klrenter-prises.com

“At times, discovering our talents, gifts, and skills may seem like an expedition to find lost treasure. Karen’s eloquent writings will provide you with a map to find your hidden treasure, and a key to unlock the treasure chest. “Birth the Treasure Within” will inspire you to help yourself and others, get over your past, attempt the unknown, and so much more. Look to your right, and then look to your left, those individuals yearn to benefit from your success.”

-Zephi Francis

“Karen’s writings have inspired me to look deep within myself to find the gifts God has blessed me with. I can especially relate to the “Mirror” because of where I am in my life. It was enjoyable how she journaled us across the continent as she blossomed in her personal, spiritual and emotional life and growth. Karen also showed us how she sacrificed and learned the power of hope to look forward to what is next for us and to be ready to embrace it. I am eagerly awaiting her next publication of inspiration.”
